Hi, I'm Eric Seuret, and I've spent the last 15+ years solving complex technical challenges at the intersection of hardware and software. Today, I combine my industry expertise with my role as lecturer at Fachhochschule Graubünden, a Swiss university of applied sciences, where I teach industrial robotics and mobile robotics systems while helping companies bring innovative IoT products to market faster and more cost-effectively. My deepest expertise comes from Manufacturing & MedTech, but the technical challenges I solve apply across industries.

My Journey: From EPFL to Cylenk

My passion for technology began at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), where I earned my Master's in Microengineering with a focus on Robotics and Autonomous Systems. But it was my hands-on experience across diverse industries that truly shaped my expertise.

Early Career - Medical Innovation (2009-2012)
At Debiotech, I developed safety-critical electronics for insulin pumps, learning the rigorous standards required for medical device development under ISO 13485 and IEC 62304. This experience taught me that in life-critical applications, there's no room for compromise.

Industrial Automation Expertise (2012-2018)
At General Electric (formerly Alstom), I led R&D projects developing robotics solutions for power and oil & gas industries. I created semi-autonomous defect scanners for turbine blades and managed projects within budget. I contributed to a universal bending machine for generators' stator winding that won 2nd place at the Alstom Innovation Awards 2014, with my CAD-to-tooling software being part of the project.

Energy & IoT Leadership (2018-2024)
Most recently, I led energy monitoring projects at ennovatis, designing WireGuard-based VPN solutions for IoT devices and developing custom embedded Linux systems. This is where I perfected my approach to lean, agile R&D execution.
